Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Digital Success Society, LLC (“Digital Success Society,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you create an account, subscribe to a plan, upload photos, generate content, or otherwise use the Reel Maker service.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address, authentication information, plan, preferences, and account status.
  • Billing information: subscription, payment status, and Stripe customer identifiers. Stripe processes card details; Reel Maker does not store complete card numbers.
  • Content you provide: uploaded photos, Reel topics, optional text, captions, and other instructions you submit.
  • Generated content: hooks, on-screen text, captions, rendered videos, and related processing records.
  • Usage and technical information: records needed to operate the service, enforce Reel allowances, diagnose errors, protect accounts, and maintain security.
  • Marketing preference: whether you separately chose to receive tips, feature announcements, and special offers, plus when and where that choice was made.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts; provide, personalize, and improve Reel Maker; generate text and videos; process subscriptions; enforce plan allowances; provide customer support; communicate about accounts, billing, security, and service changes; prevent abuse; and comply with legal obligations.

AI and video processing

Reel topics, instructions, and relevant content may be sent to an AI service provider, including OpenAI, to generate suggested hooks, text, and captions. Photos and rendering instructions may be made temporarily available to a video-rendering provider, including Shotstack, to create the downloadable Reel. Do not upload confidential, highly sensitive, or unlawful material.

Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers to operate Reel Maker, including Supabase for accounts, database, and file storage; Stripe for subscriptions and payment processing; OpenAI for AI-assisted text generation; Shotstack for video rendering; and hosting and infrastructure providers. These providers receive information needed to perform their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer.

Reel Maker does not sell uploaded photos or personal information for money. Marketing consent is not required to create an account or purchase a subscription.

Marketing choices

Marketing emails are sent only when you choose to receive them. You can change this preference in your Account or use the unsubscribe option in a marketing email. Opting out of marketing does not stop receipts, subscription notices, security alerts, or other necessary service communications.

Storage and retention

We retain account, subscription, usage, uploaded, and generated information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Deleted content may remain in backups or service-provider systems for a limited period before removal.

Your choices

You may update certain account information and marketing preferences from your Account. You may also request help accessing, correcting, or deleting personal information, subject to legal, security, billing, and recordkeeping requirements. Canceling a subscription does not automatically delete the account or its content.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information. No online service, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children

Reel Maker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International processing

Reel Maker and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Reel Maker changes. Material updates will be posted here with a revised effective date and, when appropriate, communicated through the service.
